Garry Kasparov has released an NFC collection on the 1 Kind platform
Grandmaster Garry Kasparov has released an NFT collection on the 1Kind platform. It includes archival photographs and personal notebooks of the chess player.

"I wanted to share dozens of personal things from my life and career, open my archive. We [with 1Kind] worked together to create a new way to use NFT to tell a story that has real events behind it," Kasparov wrote.

The collection is divided into three drops: "Early Years", "World Champion" and "Legacy of a legend". The authors also announced a special Tribute NFT.

The first drop is already available on 1Kind. As the name implies, this issue presents NFTs related to the childhood and early years of the future world champion's career.

NFTs are issued on the Ethereum blockchain and are sold in an auction format. At the time of writing, the lot with the highest bid (0.39 ETH) is a digitized entry from Kasparov's diary, in which he describes in detail one of the games of the team championship in Baku.

Recall that in October, Norwegian grandmaster Magnus Carlsen received a trophy in the form of an NFT for winning an international tournament.
