Trump's Wife Released Her Own NFT
Former US First Lady Melania Trump has launched an NFT platform and presented her first digital work based on the Solana blockchain.

The NFT collection was named Melania's Vision. The tokens are a digitized watercolor by French illustrator Marc-Antoine Coulomb in conjunction with an audio recording of Trump's voice.

NFTs are available for purchase from December 16 to December 31, 2021. The token price is 1 SOL (~$179). Part of the proceeds will be used to support the Be Best initiative, which is overseen by Trump.

In a conversation with Breitbart, the former first lady noted that she plans to release digital works on a regular basis.

According to the press release, you can buy NFT for cryptocurrency and fiat through the MoonPay service. However, the latter denied this possibility.

"In a recent Bloomberg article, MoonPay was named a partner of Melania Trump's new NFT project. The material contains an actual error, since MoonPay does not play any official role in this project. [...] We would like to clarify that we do not cooperate with Melania, and users cannot purchase her collection using our service," the company wrote.

A representative of Solana Labs also told Decrypt that the company is not cooperating with Trump:

"I would like to inform you, in order to avoid confusion, that it is her personal choice to use the Solana blockchain. The project is not part of any of our initiatives."

Recall that in December, grandmaster Garry Kasparov released a collection of NFT on the 1Kind platform.
